DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Shake well before use. Apply 3 to 4 drops of serum to clean, damp skin.
- Sensitive and reactive skin or skin that has never used retinoids : Every other evening for 2 weeks, then every evening as tolerated.
- Skin that has already used retinoids : Apply the serum every evening.
Use in addition to a day cream with SPF protection.

What is the difference between retinal and retinol?
Retinal is a vitamin A derivative further along the conversion chain: it requires only one enzymatic transformation to become active (compared to two for retinol), which makes it more potent and effective than retinol, while reducing the risk of irritation.
Does CEL™ Retinal Serum cause irritation or burning?
No. CEL™ Retinal Serum does not cause “retinol burn,” the burning, redness, or peeling sensations often associated with traditional retinoids.
Thanks to its encapsulated, time-released retinal and CEL™ Complex , it works effectively without damaging the skin. Its tolerance has been tested on sensitive skin , and it is ideal for those who have already reacted to traditional retinols.
Why encapsulate retinal in a plant resin?

No, as with all retinoids, retinal (and its derivatives) is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Although CEL™ Retinal has been tested without risk of estrogenic and androgenic endocrine disruption, vitamin A accumulation, like retinoids, may lead to a risk of teratogenicity.
I am a teenager, can I use this serum?
For teenagers, we only recommend it for acne-prone skin as a treatment.
